The Red Wedding was the hardest thing I ever wrote. That chapter occurs about 2/3 of the way through A Storm of Swords, but it was actually the last thing I wrote for that book. When I reached that chapter, I skipped over it.

I know this is probably the most “cliche” of shippings, but they are an utterly priceless pair, the beauty and the beast. In my mind, both are very complex characters, and their interactions are some of my favorites. SanSan!

House Martell is probably my favorite since the most number of characters I like to follow are around Dorne or somehow associated. They show up late in the game, but they are a wildcard that is going to have some major impact on the finale.

30 Day Challenge: Game of Thrones
Day 01 ~ Favourite character from book/show.

My favorite character in the A Song of Ice and Fire series is by far Davos Seaworth. Why such an overlooked character? In my mind Davos is the only character in the series that is a true shot. He will always speak his mind and be true to who he is. He will say exactly what he believes even if it has a chance to get him killed. That is the reason Stannis appreciates having him by his side. With Davos you get exactly what you see. He is a loyal friend, but he will also tell you when you are being stupid.
